The Carl Zeiss® Vario-Tessar lens (filter diameter: 30mm) offers high-magnification 25x optical zoom and a 41mm wide-angle setting (35mm equivalent). Users can conveniently shoot faraway subjects as well as capture groups of people with each person's face clearly visible.
With just a touch on the 2.7" wide LCD Screen you can easily navigate your Handycam Menu. Through the user-friendly menu, you can activate functions, adjust settings and control playback.
Quickly and easily transfer your memories from the DCRHC48e to your PC with the included Handycam Station. The need to search for power & data cables is practically eliminated, as the station is designed to remain connected to your home PC. The Handycam Station is also a convenient cradle for charging the battery (when the camera is powered off) or connecting the camera to other devices like a TV or printer (via AV and USB ports.) The Handycam Station also allows still images stored on Memory Stick Duo to be watched on a TV.
The included Memory Stick Duo slot allows you to save your digital still images direct to one of the most popular removable storage mediums available. Using a 1GB memory stick Duo (MSA1GA) allows you to capture approx. 1,800 1Mega Pixel images! Then transfer them quickly and easily to a variety of Memory Stick Duo compatible devices – letting you view, print, edit or share your memories with family and friends.
