Pioneer DVR-560-H-K Region Free DVD Recorder 160GB

The Pioneer DVR-560H-K multi-region multi-system DVD recorder contains a 160GB Hard Disc Drive that can hold up to 455 hours of recorded content. It also features a HDMI connection, capable of upscaling video content to 1080p. The HDMI CEC compatibility allows for single remote operation and is compatible with other Pioneer HDMI CEC devices. Connect your digital video camera
Connect your digital video video camera through the DV-in terminal, and discover how simple it is to view and organise your home movies. When you import video, Auto Chapter can automatically divide footage into chapters for quick access to your favorite scenes. You can edit footage any way you like using the easy-to-follow GUI – changing sequences or selecting only desired scenes – and copy the results to DVD. The remote control is all you need to navigate through functions on both the camcorder and the DVD recorder.

Digital Jukebox
With the digital jukebox feature, you can store hours and hours of your music collection by ripping your CDs at a maximum of 10x speed to the HDD (20 songs per GB in CD quality LPCM format), and play back in your desired order. You can also save MP3 and WMA (Windows Media Audio) files to the jukebox. Titles of stored songs are displayed on the screen for quick and ready access. You can edit song titles using the remote control or by connecting a USB keyboard.
*Once you copy music files to HDD, you cannot send it anywhere. You cannot copy music files from HDD to discs. You cannot copy contents with copy protection.

Disc Navigator
Finding recorded programmes is easier than ever. Just scroll through the thumbnails (with sound) of the videos. Choose between 4 title and 8 title display mode.
*Not available after finalisation of DVD-R/RW discs (Video mode).
DivX® Video playback
Pioneer DVD recorders play DivX® videos burned onto a CD-R/RW/ROM disc. DivX® is a popular media technology including digital video, which ensures a high compression rate and fast transfer speed without appreciably compromising the picture quality. Create a DivX® movie on your PC, burn it to a disc and play it on your Pioneer DVD recorder

DVD Multi Disc Recording and Playback
There is no need to worry whether your discs are usable on the DVD recorder! In addition to DVD-RAM* and DVD+R/RW, Pioneer DVD recorders are compatible with Dual Layer DVD-R and Double Layer DVD+R, letting you record and playback a wide selection of discs.
*For DVD-RAM playback, please take the disc out of the cartridge before use
HDMI Interface
This Pioneer DVD recorder features HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface), an industry-supported, uncompressed, all-digital audio/video interface. Connect your Pioneer DVD recorder with a Pioneer A/V receiver and Plasma, for example, and HDMI’s all-digital signal processing gives you superior pictures and sound – with no loss. It does this by allowing transmission of both audio and video signals with no D/A or A/D conversion, through easy single-cable connection.
The DVR-660H-S and DVR-560H-S feature 1080p digital output, to deliver pictures in the highest resolution.
On-screen Help
Operating a DVD recorder has never been this easy. When you are not sure what to do, just press the HELP button on the remote control. A pop-up message will appear on your screen to guide you through the next steps on the menu.
PAL/NTSC 3D Y/C separation circuit
The DVR-560H-S and DVR-660H-S carry the world’s first PAL 3D Y/C separation circuit. It eliminates cross-color artifacts and dot crawls to deliver superior picture quality.
PHOTO + MUSIC MIX (JPEG Slideshow with Music)
With Pioneer’s PHOTO + MUSIC MIX, you can enjoy JPEG slide shows on your display accompanied by your favorite music from files stored on the HDD. This is an ideal function for parties and other occasions.
