JVC GR-D54E PAL Mini DV Digital Camcorder
Introduction:
The GR-D54E PAL Mini DV camcorder produces clear and bright images with natural colors and PCM digital stereo sound.
Incorporates Image Stabilization to provide shake free images, 16x optical zoom for great close ups, and Night-Alive mode, for taping full color video in low light. And of course, since the camcorder captures video digitally, you can easily transfer them to a compatible PC using the firewire port. Power Linked Operation prepares the camera to record simply by opening the LCD or pulling out the viewfinder.

DV Format: With this mini DV camcorder, you will realize truly amazing picture and sound quality. Images reaching up to 520 lines of horizontal resolution reveal stunning detail and clarity.
PCM Digital Stereo Sound: 12/16-bit audio: 16-bit offers one set of stereo tracks and achieves the same quality as CD, while the 12-bit mode creates two sets of stereo tracks. Audio dub is possible when recorded in 12-bit mode.
Zoom: Equipped with a 16x optical zoom that lets you close in on your subject with a pure optical quality, and the 900x digital zoom that allows you go all the way out with incredible close ups.
Picture Stabilizer: The stabilizer system corrects camera shake instantly, giving you smooth and stable pictures.
LCD Monitor: This camcorder is equipped with a 2.5" tiltable LCD screen for high angle overhead shooting, low angle shots, or even self portraits.
Night Scope: Makes dark subjects even brighter than they would be under good natural lighting. Although the recorded image is not grainy, it may look as if it is strobing due to the slow shutter speed.
Special Effects: A combination of built-in Digital Special Effects and Wipes/Fades will give your videos a polished and professional look.
i.Link (IEEE-1394) FireWire: Provides fast loss-less digital transfer to a computer, or dubbing from or to another DV unit.
Snapshot Mode: Records a photo-like still image onto the video cassette with a shutter sound effect in full frame or pin-up mode.
