Most of our multisystem VCR's can playback NTSC format (U.S. system) videos with PAL only (overseas) TV. This means that you don't need to buy a multi-system TV to view NTSC American video tapes overseas. However, to view Pal/Secam video tapes on an American TV (NTSC), either you will need a multi-system TV or a standalone video signal converter for use with one of our multi system video recorders.
Note on NTSC Playback on PAL TV: Picture may roll and vertical black bars may appear on the TV screen. This can be only adjusted if the TV has vertical hold control button.
